Pausing the movie Jade was halfway through, she searched her room for clothes. It would be the first day in a couple of days that she actually wore casual clothes. Sure, she showered and straightened her hair while putting on a tad of make up; but her clothes would always be baggy shirts and baggy trackpants.
Getting to the hospital didn’t take too long, but it felt like longer due to her thoughts in her head. Her ex best friend was in the hospital; Jade was finally starting to admit it to herself that they were no longer best friends. Yet, hearing the news made her want to go running to check up on her. She was like a sister to Jade and even though she forced herself to believe otherwise; she knew it was true.
“You are a fucking idiot,” Jade snarled, throwing Ashely’s hospital door open.
Sitting in the hospital bed, ashley sighed looking around, why was she here? she should’ve died. but sadly she didn’t succeed again, she flipped through the channels of the TV and sighed again, having nothing to do and being alone.
She looked at the door seeing her ex best friend standing there “Jade?” she asked thinking she was imagining it,although they weren’t talking she had to admit she missed her, she never stopped of thinking about her “what are you doing here?” she asked looking at her hands. she knew she was gonna get yelled at any second but she didn’t care. she saw her bestfriend well ex, best friend.
Jade rolled her eyes, ignoring how dumb founded Ashley sounded. She was about to say back some sarcastic comment, about Ash was incorrect and that in fact Jade was the Queen of England and was here to finish her off.
“Don’t tell anyone, just try and kill yourself or whatever you aimed to do. You must be psychological insane. I told you didn’t I, that you were fucked up. Then again I believed I was fucked up too, yet you don’t see me in any hospital bed do you? Sure I’ve spent the last couple of days getting wasted in my bedroom by myself but at least I haven’t been in a hospital bed since last year.”
Jade collapsed onto a chair next to Ashley’s bed.
“You don’t have to remind me how fucked up i am Jade….” Ashley whispered looking down,she was already hurt physically and emotionally “if you don’t want to be here, then just leave..” she said switching the TV on and trying to pay attention though all she was doing is fail.
Jade flipped her legs over the arm rest so that she was facing the television. Since the new year Jade had decided to try and make a change. Sure, Jade loved feeling so happy and joyful but being sarcastic and annoying seemed to be even more amusing for her.
“That girl needs a serious nose job, oh and that girl - jeez even her mother would call that girl ugly. Boy, the kid needs to learn the use of contacts.” She didn’t honestly think those things, in fact she wished her nose looked like the character’s and found the ’ugly’ girl actually dead beautiful. The boy even pulled off the glasses.
Jade wasn’t going to admit that though.
